Hi, I'm Gwendolyn, I specialize in working with women who are experiencing high levels of stress, anxiety and/or depression due to a recent life transition or traumatic event. Some things about me that might help you decide if I'm the right therapist for you: I'm an active therapist, meaning, I ask questions, point out patterns and actions and help you to get to the root of what really brought you into my office. Past client's have described me as gentle, caring, nurturing, understanding and unshockable. There is a balance to be found in therapy and I hold space for my client's thoughts and emotions while also creating an environment of encouragement and safety that allows for my clients to take risks and try new ways of approaching old patterns, problems and challenging feelings.
