Fees and Billing: My current fee is $150 per 50 minute session.

I ask for full payment at the start of each session.  Payment can be made by credit card.  

Insurance: I currently accept Cigna, Optum, and United Health Care insurance.

Not all insurance plans will cover online therapy sessions.  Please check with your insurance provider to discuss your mental health coverage prior to making your appointment.

I am not considered an "in network" provider for any other insurance plans at this time.  Some insurance companies will provide "out of network" coverage for mental health services.  This means that you may receive a reimbursement from your health coverage if you submit a receipt to them.  I recommend contacting your insurance provider to discuss your mental health coverage prior to making an appointment with a therapist.  

Cancellation: Appointment times are specifically set aside for you and often cannot be given away with short notice.  If you know that you will need to miss an appointment or need to cancel I require at least 24 hours notice.  If you miss or cancel an appointment without providing me with 24 hours notice I will charge you for the missed/cancelled appointment.  

Sick:  I do not see client's (in office) when they are sick with the cold, flu, or any other contagious virus.  This is for your own well being and the well being of the other client's.  If you show up to the session sick or if I have reason to believe that you are sick I will stop the session and either cancel the session and charge you or with the remaining scheduled time you can call into your session and we can continue via the phone.  Part of coming to therapy is learning to allow yourself to care for your needs.  If you are sick or believe you are coming down with something, please stay home, rest and care for yourself.  

Late:  When you schedule your appointment you are securing time with me for 50 minutes.  Unfortunately missed time cannot be made up.  If you are late to your appointment you will be charged the full fee.

Telephone:  I do not offer 24 hour phone coverage.  I am available to you during business hours, while not in session.  If you leave me a message during business hours I will do my best to return the call within 24 hours.  Messages left during closed hours will be returned within 24 hours of the next business day.  In case of an emergency or if I cannot be reached, please seek assistance at your local medical facility or call 911.  

Confidentiality: In most cases information shared with a therapist cannot be shared without a written release.  However, there are some exceptions.  These exceptions are; if there is a court order for the therapist to appear, or to produce clients charts, if the therapist learns their is a serious threat to another person, if the therapist believes the client may harm themselves, if their is evidence of child abuse or elder abuse or dependent adult abuse.
